Many of us my quickly revert to family members, close friends, husbands, and so on. But on a daily basis who do you trust? Before you answer this question I want to share some quotes;
*Love all, trust a few, do wrong to none.William Shakespeare
*The more you trust your intuition, the more empowered you
become, the stronger you become, and the happier you
become. Gisele Bundchen
*I believe in trusting men, not only once but twice - in
giving a failure another chance.James Cash Penney
Now that we are thinking about those we trust around us and how to get it, lose it, and or regain it I want to share a story with you. We trust more people than what we may think. We trust teachers to teach us right; parents to support us; pilots to give us a safe flight; restaurants to serve us good food and so on. I happened to be rescheduling my dentist appointment due to a schedule conflict. I was doing this two weeks in advance. The receptionist (office manager) was quite rude and disrespectful that after 12 years of going to the same dentist I decided to find a different place. I was lucky to get in with another dentist and what I was told hurt my heart and my teeth. Some of the cavity coverings had been fractured years ago and so there was leaking occurring inside a tooth. I could not believe that the dentist I had trusted for so long had let this happen. I had felt discomfort but decided I could trust him. FOLLOW YOUR INSTINCT! For me, the trust I had with this dentist is completely broken and I could never go back for a revisit. What do you think?
